This Group Executive (Strategy) is one level below the CEO and oversees one of the most important divisions of this leading Australian household brand. They is a driving force within the business, and their division handles a broad range of ever-changing work across both strategy and corporate development. 

Based in the CBD (WFH 2/3 days a week), this is a fantastic 12-14 month (mat leave cover) opportunity for a polished and experienced Executive Assistant who has worked in fast-paced environments such as Corporate Affairs, Strategy or Communications.

You’ll be supporting a seasoned Exec who has one of the most rapidly moving offices in the business. In this role, no two days will be the same. You will be busy, providing support to the the Senior Executive along with stepping-up to collaborating with their wider team of 6 when required and working with the network of internal EAs.

What will the role involve?

Providing high-quality administrative support you can expect your daily duties to include:

  • Email, diary and calendar management – competent to handle last minute diary changes
  • Booking travel (international & domestic), and managing all expenses
  • Organising and coordinating meetings, agendas and minutes
  • Handling group comms, quarterly town hall events, team offsites, management dinners / activities
  • One on one support to the Group Exec however, also providing adhoc support to 6 direct reports (very minimal)
  • Having an oversight of the Group budget and being the first point of contact for contracts / purchase orders (in addition to Procurement)
  • Manage and collate Executive + Board papers
  • Utilising a range of technology including Power Bi, Outlook, PpwerPoint, Word & Excel
  • Exposure to SAP SuccessFactor is preferred but not essential

This role is instrumental in supporting the Leader to be effective in the wider business. Due to landscape of the department and the senior leaders you’ll be exposed to, you’ll hold true weight and responsibility.

To ensure your success in this position you must take pride in always being one step ahead, whilst being adaptable to changing priorities.
